Last time we spoke, which was sometime in December, rapper Zach89 said that 2012 would be his year! Well, he’s starting off fresh, just as he said he would! He dropped a video for his song, “1st Down” off of his mixtape, “RapZhody” some time yesterday. Similar to his video “My Baby,” the simplicity is what brings it all together. That’s honestly what I admire most about the videos; you aren’t distracted by fluff, but what you do see is the realness portrayed in the shoot that matches with the realness of the lyrics. Zach89 also includes two Retro styled dudes in the video before he takes it to the heart of New York. Take a look at the video, and as always, leave your thoughts.
