As you have already heard, Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed into the world a healthy baby girl sometime yesterday. The news was first announced via twitter by Rihanna’s tweet which read:
“Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.”
Later on today is when the controversy actually started. You’ve all heard the rumors about Jay and Bey both being a part of some sort of secret society. Well, when the media got wind of the little girl’s name, everyone started going crazy. It is said that her name is Blue Ivy/Ivy Blue Carter. Pretty, right? That’s what I thought. But with a simple google search, you’ll see spectators everywhere reporting that the name spelled backwards, Eulb Yvi, actually means Lucifer’s Daughter in Latin. When I did a search of the name, all that came up was the slander being thrown around by outsiders. A part of me is thinking that this whole thing is a hoax, that the childs name isn’t really Blue Ivy. Hov said it best right? ” Its only entertainment!” So is it true, or isn’t it? I personally don’t care. A beautiful couple has welcomed into the world a 7lb healthy baby girl. Stop hating and go on about your business.
