53-year-old Penelope Luddy of Perinton, N.Y sent her husband out to run a few errands this past Wednesday so should carry out a murder/suicide that investigators believe was not premeditated. It is said that the woman was going through a rough time these past few weeks which could have contributed to the reasons why she snapped. Luddy convinced her 57-year-old husband, Michael, to go see a relative that had been ill around 8:30 that morning. Upon his return, about an hour later, he discovered his wife and 10-year-old daughter Alexandra were dead. He then found his father-in-law, 79-year-old Harold Bertram in the family’s basement. A statement containing details of this horrific event was given to investigators by the elderly gentleman. The woman’s father, Bertram, told authorities that he and his granddaughter had been shot twice before Penelope had turned the gun on herself. Stay posted for future updates on this story!
