The FBI recently released their list of the most dangerous cities in America. Last year, Newark, NJ made the list being ranked at #23. Where are we on the list this year you ask? Well, we’re now the 9th most dangerous city in the United States! I know a lot of you are in total disbelief right now, but do me a favor, pick up your jaw and face the facts! Some people like to place blame on the fact that Mayor Cory Booker laid off dozens of police officers. But is that really the case? Since when have we as people needed to be directed by police and other government officials to know what not to do? While Mayor Booker is NOT one of my favorite people in the world, I can honestly say I don’t place too much blame on him alone. He is in charge of maintaining our city, true, but aren’t we as well? It’s about time we learn to come together as a community to clean up our neighborhoods. We can’t sit around and depend on the help of others! We need to get it together people! Take a look at the list below and leave your thoughts and let me know what you think.

Its crazy for u to say that there is no connection between the increasing crime rate and the lay off of Newark cops. I don’t like cops much either but lets be real, crime exists no matter how much people would like everyone to “come together as a community and clean up our neighborhoods”. The average person is not going.outside and going toe to toe with a gun holding criminal. That’s the job of our law enforcement agencies. That’s why we pay taxes. I’m.so tired of people with their heal the world blah blah…the world is fine, its just a small bunch of fucked up individuals that are fucking it up. So when I see a mayor and governor lay part of the police force in a city that is already on the top 25 most dangerous city list excuse me if I don’t find a way to blame the citizens of that city for the increase in murders. All that pretty talk.is nice on paper but walk outside of your house and see if a muthafucka driving by shooting listens to you or a cop that’s shooting back!

I agree with dude…and how are we “depending on the help of others” by expecting OUR government to provide cops to help keep our streets safe..that’s some naive shit right there..whoever wrote this must be from Beverly Hills or some shit lmao…booker ain’t shit and neither is that fat cracker christy

You both are doing a lot of complaining but what have you done to help the issue? I agree with the writer to a certain extent. It is their job to protect the place we live in but its our people that are being cowards. Our children out here doing this sh*t! And we sit home and complain. Crime is all over but that doesn’t mean we sit bck and do nothing.
