kay so I’ve been modeling for about for about 6-7 years with an extensive portfolio to prove it. I got started taking pictures of myself and doing my own graphics and editing. Eventually photographers really started paying attention. Before I know it I was getting request from photographers all over the United States. I’ve honestly worked with so many photographers I can’t remember them all. All I can say is my two favorites of all times have been Category 6 and Lloyd Parks. Category 6 passed away last year. He was the first to really stun me with his creativity. He was one of the sweetest photographers I’ve ever met and it was a blessing to have him as a close friend. Since his passing God has blessed me with a new best friend, photographer and mentor Lloyd Parks. I could say so much but I don’t even think words could explain this mans talent and motivation. I’m just ecstatic that I am one of his muses. As far as magazines go, I’ve been in Skintones, Stunnaz, I’m currently the Straight Stuntin’ Magazine centerfold and I’m in Black Men’s Ink Candy edition for July and the cover girl for the July issue of Night Life Magazine. In the past I wasn’t really interested in doing music videos but I actually just co-starred in Maino’s new video “I’m About That Life” which would be released by the end of the month. I’ve also been cast to star in J Hood’s new video as well. I’m 22 years old and just graduated school with my license in Skin Care.
I work as a full-time make-up Artist when I’m not busy being in front of the camera. I am so passionate about the art of Make-up and skincare, there’s so much you can do to change someone’s day or someone’s life. Anything I can do to give a girl better confidence or make them look like a star I’m extremely appeased to do so. My wildest fantasy would actually be to leave a legacy behind to girls who are talented, creative and motivated to follow their heart to their wildest dreams. If you don’t have passion you don’t have life. Your not living yet. Follow your heart and you will always be happy. I love being a mentor! The #1 rule to modeling is be yourself, follow your heart and don’t let anyone take you from your morals, or who you really are as a person. Girls often get caught up in the promises the industry will throw them. Have a plan and don’t let modeling be your only plan. Its a temporary goal, not a long term one. Go to school, get an education and be your #1 supporter and don’t look for handouts. You have to grind as well as be smart about it.” -As told to Boston McKay
