As part of the suit Eight Mile Style is asserting that the Audio commercial used elements of similar to their Chrysler 200 advertisement. Although they say imitation is the biggest form of flattery, that may not be the case when a wopping sum of $9 million dollars is involved. According to the The Detroit Free Press, that is how much Chrysler shelled out to produce their 200 commercial. The Chrysler 200 commercial was one of the most expensive commercials ever produced in Super Bowl history, so you can kind of understand why the creators might be a little upset if it is copied by another automobile company.
Eminem’s Eight Mile Style LLC has filed a lawsuit against Audi AG in Germany’s Hamburg Regional Court. Seeking a cease-and-desist order against the company, Eight Mile Style additionally sued for damages against Audi. Thus far Audio has only aired the commercial in Europe. Spokesperson for Eight Mile Style, Joel Martin, released this statement about the situation, “We believe Audi not only used ‘Lose Yourself’ to sell their product without permission, but their spot actually feels inspired by elements of Chrysler’s commercial campaign,“.
Eminem’s Chrysler 200 commercial, part of the “Imported From Detroit” campaign, first aired during the Super Bowl. He was credited with helping Chrysler post its first profitable quarter since it filed for bankruptcy two years ago, helping increase the corporation’s net revenues by 35 percent.

Yea i see the similarities…the Audi commercial was better tho…and the Audi is a better car…maybe Eminem should have got a deal with audi instead?
That commercial don’t look nothin like the Emenem one, only thing they bit was his sing. But that’s probably enough for him to sue..
